Field Farm Fisheries is a family run business in Wrentham, close to Southwold in Suffolk which offers fishing, camping and caravan site open all year. We are in a fantastic location for exploring the area and very close to the beaches of Southwold Cove Hive and Kessingland.
Our touring caravan site is a nice hideaway site overlooking the fisheries. The campsite is open from March until the end of October. Several pitches have electric hook up points.
There is a freshwater supply, four showers, hot taps, 4 washing up sinks, a toilet block and there is a chemical waste disposal point.
The campsite is surrounded by our farmland with some nice walks. Tents, touring caravans, trailer tents, motorhomes all welcome. Children and dogs are more than welcome. Dogs must be kept on a lead and you must clean up after them.
We also have a log cabin for hire. This is more secure than camping it's well built provides basic accommodation with a good wood floor plenty of headroom. The advantage to the cabin is that it is already set up, with no flapping wet tents, no wind pulling the tent pegs out. It is warmer than a tent and bigger than a pod. All you basically need to bring is everything you need for camping minus the tent solar lighting, seating area provided.
We are in a beautiful part of the county, with lots of wildlife to see including many kinds of dragonflies, butterflies, birds including owls, voles and deer. We also have many activities within easy reach, children’s play centre, horse riding, boating, swimming, beaches at Southwold, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth in addition to many Suffolk attractions.
Field Farm Fisheries has six ponds with a mixture of coarse fish. We have carp (mirrors, commons, ghosts, grass & leathers), bream, tench, roach, rudd, perch, chub and golden orfe. We cater for all levers of angler whether you just want a good day fishing with lots of fish or are a specimen hunter after that elusive monster we are sure you will enjoy your day. There is a tackle shop and bait shop on site. Anglers pay on the bank, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Anglers can start fishing at 7 am until dark, night fishing is only allowed if booked in advance.

Rates: Non-electric pitches £14 a night for two people.
Electric pitch £19 a night for two people.
Electric pitch are for caravans and motorhomes only.
Hot Showers £1.
Price is for two people in a unit any extra people will be charged at £2 each a night.
One unit per pitch.
Dogs are charged at £1 each per night.
Gazebos are £1 each a night.
A deposit is taken on booking and it is non-refundable. For camping best to book in advance to avoid.
