Acklam Farm Stays is a small working farm that provides off grid glamping and wild camping. The farm is located within the small village of Acklam. Malton is only 6 miles away and the city of York just 12 miles.
The Shepherd's Hut has stunning countryside views. It can accommodate 4 people in a double bed, single bunk bed and single pull out bed. The hut comes well equipped with a:
Log burner.
Kettle.
1 ringed gas stove and pans
Crockery and cutlery.
Gas BBQ available to rent.
Tea & coffee.
For an extra cost, a bacon sandwich is available for breakfast.
Compost toilet.
Hot off grid shower.
Outdoor sink for washing up.
Fire pit.
We also offer wild camping, with 10 pitches available and lots of room, based in a 7 acre field.

This area of the Yorkshire Wolds has wonderful cycle routes and footpaths. It is also the ideal place for fishing or canoeing as Castle Howard and the River Derwent are close by.
The nearby town of Malton has markets and shops. It is also an award winning food town.
