Foxfield Park at Carleton is a family friendly touring park ideally located for exploring Cumbria. Our touring park is roughly a mile from the market town of Penrith where you will find many individual shops, places to eat, leisure centre and major supermarkets.
Our touring park is a new development with 20 fully serviced touring pitches. Unlike many touring parks in the area we also have seasonal pitches available, this allows you to get the best use from your tourer and make the most of having a country retreat with comfort. All of the pitches are on hard standing and have a grassed area, pitch facilities include:
Bollard with 16 amp electric hook-up.
Fresh water/drinking water.
Grey water disposable point
Chemical waste drain.
TV plug in point.
Any of the pitches can be used by those with mobility issues. Any of the pitches can be used as seasonal and can be occupied for 10.5 months. RV’s are also welcome, size permitting.
Touring guests have access to our new toilet block which benefits from under floor heating. There is also a separate disabled facilities area and a small laundry and indoor waste point.

Cumbria is renowned for its beautiful countryside and lakeside destinations. If you are into fishing then the next lane along the road will take you to Whins pond here you can fish and it also holds competitions. Carlton village is on the edge of penrith and is approx ˝ mile from Foxfield park it has the cross keys pub which has kylos restaurant you will also find a farm shop. Langwathby village which is approx 3 miles has a Settle to Carlisle railway station and the brief encounter café. Also Shepherds inn serving good food. The Eden Valley is a beautiful place to spend time in, and a drive along the A686 to Alston voted one of the most beautiful drives in UK, Stop at Hartside Pass take in the magnificent views across the Solway to Scotland.
