Drummohr Holiday Park is situated just twenty minutes away from Princes Street in the heart of Scotlandís capital Edinburgh. To the other side of the holiday park is the beautiful East Lothian countryside. We are also located on the John Muir way walking route. The holiday park offers luxury holiday lodges, some with hot tubs, pitches for caravans, motor homes, pitches for camping and an alternative to traditional camping, the octolodge, hexilodge and the camping bothy.
The Drum Mohr Park itself was originally the walled garden of a monastery and much of the original tranquil atmosphere has remained intact. Sheltered and wooded on all sides, this secluded park is mainly level and carefully landscaped, including the planting of some 1500 trees and shrubs. It has an extensive view on its northern aspect of the Firth of Forth.
All pitches are generously spaced and are within easy reach of drinking water and waste disposal points. Two separate and fully tiled toilet blocks have been built to an exceptionally high standard. Incorporated in each is a chemical toilet disposal point and a fully equipped laundry room.
Other on-site services include electric hook-up points, hard standings and serviced pitches, camping gas, Calor gas and a well stocked shop. For the disabled, toilet and shower facilities are provided and all doorways have ramped access. Dogs are allowed if kept on a lead and under control at all times.
An area in the centre of the park has been set aside as a children's play area with swings, slide etc.
The caravan park is close to the cities amenities as well as many interesting attractions such as Edinburgh Zoo, The John Muir Way and Tantallon Castle.
