Callanish Camping provides excellent glamping facilities situated in Callanish. This is an ideal spot from which to explore the Western Isles Island of Lewis. This is the largest of the Western Isles.
There are 4 camping pods available onsite which can all sleep 2 adults. All of the pods are constructed from wood and well insulated with double glazed doors and windows. They are equipped with heating, microwave oven, cool box and kettle.
Our self-contained pod, Bānag, boasts see views. The pod comes with and ensuite shower, a small double with a fold-out sofa bed and extra camp bed if required. Facilities include an electric hob fridge, combination microwave, toastie maker, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, pots & pans & smart tv with integrated DVD player.
Although the area is quiet there is plenty to see and do. You can go for a walk, cycle or kayaking. Alternatively you can visit Shawbost Folk Museum, Arnol Black House Museum, Shawbost Norse Mill or Callanish Stones.
