Description

Kelynack Caravan & Camping Park is a small, secluded and sheltered camping and caravanning park situated on the outskirts of Kelynack, close to the popular Cornish town of St Just. We offer family friendly camping facilities along with a selection of caravan homes for those who prefer to have their creature comforts.

Holiday Caravan Homes: These homes offer superior quality, comfort and cleanliness. Each has a shower and toilet en suite, hob and oven, fridge, gas heating and television. We ask you to bring your own linen otherwise everything else is provided.

Touring Caravans, Tents & Motorhomes: These have spacious level pitches with some hard standings and electric hook-ups. Our well-appointed toilet facilities have separate shower rooms including facilities for the disabled, hair and hand dryers, a campers' wash-up and chemical disposal.

The Bunk Barn is completely self-contained and provides a comfortable cost-effective alternative to camping. You have your own bedroom and share the shower and kitchen with other guests. Ideal for backpackers, climbers and walkers.

Park Amenities: These include a laundry room with automatic washing machine, tumble and spin dryers and ironing facilities. Adjoining is a public telephone and small shop where all essentials are available including Calor and Camping Gaz. We also have a dining shelter for campers.

Children have a separate play area and small table tennis room. They can also explore in the bluebell glade and visit our loveable donkeys: Angus and Thistle.

Why not visit in the spring and experience the breathtaking drifts of wildflowers on the cliffs or in the autumn and chance the sight of rare migrant birds. The area surrounding cot valley is particularly noted for both.

Being in the centre of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, all the attractive parts of the Land's End and Lizard peninsulas are easily reached.

Walks on the most beautiful cliffs in Britain are close at hand, along with Land's End itself of course. Day trips to the Isles of Scilly have been a popular choice of late, as have scenic flights - both from Land's-End aerodrome. A coastal bus service passes near to the Park during the summer months.

We are ideally placed for you to explore the ancient villages, standing stones and tin-mining heritage of West Penwith, as well as being central for rock climbing and bird-watching. Indoor swimming and leisure facilities plus mountain bike hire and golf can all be arranged locally to St Just - a mile away. The town also has a good selection of shops and pubs which welcome families and a frequent bus service provide a link with Penzance.

Priest's Cove at Cape Cornwall is our local fishing cove whilst the magnificent surfing beach at Sennen Cove is a short drive away.
