Situated on the edge of Cardinham Woods in the heart of Cornwall, Langs Mill Camping is conveniently accessible from the A30 and A38, and is a mere 10-minute drive from Bodmin Parkway mainline station.
Set within a 1.5-acre site situated in a valley clearing, our campsite offers the perfect escape into nature. Enjoy the fresh forest air and the soothing sounds of the stream that flows around the area. Cardinham Woods, a peaceful sanctuary with over 600 acres of wooded paths and trails, a café, a children’s play area and the famous Bodmin Beast mountain bike trail, is directly accessible from our campsite. You can easily explore on foot or bike by leaving your car behind, crossing the clapper bridge, or wading through the stream.
For those who prefer a quieter stay, our campsite provides ample opportunities to relax by the stream, build a den, or engage in stone stacking.
We offer a small and intimate setting with just 5 pitches for tents or small campervans and a shepherd's hut, making it ideal for families seeking a peaceful retreat or groups desiring a bit of secluded exclusivity.
Campers have free access to the entire site, including use of our fire pit, with wood available for purchase from our grounds. We provide limited electrical hook-up for an additional £5 per night and our communal kitchen area includes a fridge and washing up facilities.
Our large shower room is equipped with plenty of hooks and baskets to keep your belongings dry and secure.
The shepherd's hut features a pull-down double bed, an ensuite bathroom, a two-ring electric stove, a log burner, a sink and a small fridge.
We also offer rental of fire bowls and barbecues, and we sell firewood for your convenience. Secure bike storage is available if needed.
Please note, parking is limited to one vehicle per pitch, with additional vehicles accommodated by agreement for £5 per night.
Membership to the Wanderlust Camping Club is required for at least one person per pitch, available for a one-time fee of £6 per tent or £12.50 for the Hut during your stay. A portion of these funds supports local wildlife and nature projects.

Langs Mill is an excellent base for exploring Cornwall's rich landscapes and attractions. Within a 10-minute drive, you can reach the market town of Bodmin, offering all necessary amenities. In 30 minutes, explore the Camel Trail, The Eden Project, or the quaint harbors of Looe or Polperro. Just 40 minutes away, enjoy surfing at Polzeath or Harlyn, or dine in Port Isaac, famous as the setting for Doc Martin. Nearby, Tintagel Castle, Truro, and Newquay, including the airport, are within a reasonable driving distance.
