Description

Woodyhyde Campsite is a spacious family run campsite offering facilities for campers, glampers and motorhomes in over 3 fields. The campsite is located within the Dorset village of Corfe Castle which is only a short drive from the historic town of Wareham. The location of our campsite makes it suitable for all types of holidays or weekends away.

There are 160 pitches available which all have wonderful views. The campsite offers some electrical hookups and hardstanding pitches available.

We also have luxurious glamping accommodation available. Our 2 shepherd huts are within our peaceful and green campsite. These rustic huts come with a bed, kitchenette and en suite facilities. Our huts sleep up to 2 adults and all bed linen is provided. Fresh linen are provided, kitchen utensils and crockery are included as well as a table and chairs; all the comforts of home without having to bring anything.

Five beautifully furnished yurts are available, nestled in our private paddock. Each yurt sleeps up to 4 people in a full-size double bed and pull out double bed. Shared showers and toilets are nearby. We have shared fire pits are in the paddock for guests to use.

Other facilities onsite include 2 shower blocks, FREE Wi-Fi and a shop selling all camping essentials.

There are footpaths from the campsite which lead directly to the Purbeck Hills and the coastal paths on the outstanding Jurassic Coast. For a less strenuous day, the beautiful award-winning beaches of Swanage and Studland are not very far away.

The Isle of Purbeck is designated as a "World Heritage Site" for its Jurassic Coast, recognised as one of the world’s most geologically important places on the planet, also rated as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
