Shilvington is a delightful caravan and glamping site near East Shilvinghampton. Our site in Dorset is on a working farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, ideal for a tranquil breakaway. We are close to Portesham and ideally placed for visiting a variety of attractions in the area.
Based in a countryside setting, our secluded site offers 5 pitches in total for caravans and motorhomes. The fields can also be used for larger groups and rallies.
Facilities include electric hook, chemical disposal point, drinking water and freezing facilities. There are no shower or toilet facilities for the caravan site.
You can enjoy a touch of luxury in our Canvas Lodges. All the lodges have a double bed and bunk bed, plus a cupboard for 1 adult or 2 children. Each lodge has a sofa, flushing toilet, running water and sofa. Some of the lodges also have an en suite bathroom with a shower and basin. Bed linen and wood for heating and cooking are provided.
Outside each lodge there are chairs and an extended canopy, offering a great spot to relax whilst enjoying the setting. You can also unwind on the picnic table in the afternoon sun.
You can meet our friendly alpacas whilst staying with us. Learn about them and enjoy a walk around the countryside with your new friends.
Guests can buy burgers, steaks, bacon and sausages from our honesty shop. Milk, bread, & a range of groceries are also available.
Only 10 minutes from us Chesil Beach and Weymouth Beach is just 15 minutes away. You can also visit the local towns and villages. We are the ideal base to explore a range of attractions in the local area:

Hell Stone.
Valley of Stones National Nature Reserve.
West Dorset Heritage Coast.
