Bwch yn Uchaf is a family run camping and caravan park located on the edge of Llanuwchllyn village which is 5 miles from Bala, Gwynedd. The site is in a great location with wonderful views and it is ideal for exploring north and mid Wales.
This spacious campsite offers guests several acres to explore, play games or to simply walk the dog (dogs are welcome). There is a 3/4 acre Camping & Caravanning Club certified site with 10 hook ups and then for those wanting even more space there are several other areas to camp without hook up. There are also 3 hard standing hook up pitches and a further 4 hardstanding pitches adjacent to the river.
Facilities at the park include a toilet/shower/laundry block in two defined areas.
The shallow sparklingly clear river Twrch runs alongside the entire length of our park (fishing is free to our guests) and is extremely popular with guests of all ages. Also adjacent to the site is the quaint Llanuwchllyn Narrow Gauge Railway Station with its open carriage journeys along the lake.
There are plenty of lovely walks in the area, outdoor activities and attractions, for example Greenwood Forest Park, King Arthur's Labyrinth and Welsh Mountain Zoo.
