Wild Breaks offers glamping accommodation in the Llanthony Valley. Situated in an idyllic countryside setting in Powys, we truly are the perfect place to escape from hustle and bustle of modern life.
The yurts are set in a mountain valley location and enjoy views of the surrounding Black Mountains. These authentic Mongolian yurts are based in a private location in a meadow, bordered by the Honddu River. The river is only a short stroll away, perfect for taking a dip in on a warm, summer’s day.
Starlight Yurt
Inside the yurt a cosy wood-burner keeps the space snug, while a plush double bed sleeps two adults and two single futons provide room for up to two children, creating a calm, inviting retreat ideal for couples or small families (maximum two adults).
Moonlight Yurt
With a cosy wood-burner, a double bed for two adults and two single futons for children, this yurt offers a romantic yet family-friendly hideaway (maximum two adults), complete with a private bathroom and shower, a compact kitchen with gas hob and an outdoor fire pit for starlit evenings.
Visiting the Area
Only a short walk away is the Llanthony Priory, a pub that serves a great selection of drinks. Walking routes can also be enjoyed on the nearby mountain tops, whilst the renowned town of Hay-on-Wye is accessible by car. Attractions to visit include:
