Description

A picturesque, adults only (over 25s ) family run touring caravan park situated on the peaceful Welsh/Shropshire border near to the market town of Welshpool and Montgomery.

The park promotes tranquility and natural beauty, incorporating woodland, farmland and a stream meandering along its border. It enjoys the protection of nearby hills and woodland but remains very accessible to the main road.

The pitches are flat, generous and separated by a variety of shrubs. Most provide a fully serviced option, but all are hardstanding with 16 amp electric hookup and water.

We have two utilities blocks on site both heated for all year use.

One incorporating a disabled wet room and a kitchen / information room providing a swap library and satellite equipment for hire which is set up by the owners.

The second with seven fully equipped individual wetrooms This services a newly developed area which incorporates a large wildlife pool.

there is access to a laundry service.

The park is an ideal base to explore Mid Wales and the Shropshire Hills.

The nearby woodland is ideal for the keen bird watcher and boasts a magnificent display of bluebells in the spring It is stocked with a wide variety of native trees, and we have opened a private woodland walk for our guests

Dogs are very welcome in the park on a lead and can enjoy the enclosed dog walk along with a pampering doggy wetroom.

Our site is open all year but is restricted to adults only (over 25).
We offer seasonal pitches, store and pitch and storage throughout the year.

Nearby Attractions:

Walkers can enjoy recognised paths such as Offa's Dyke, Montgomeryshire Canal and The Red Woods.

Montgomery is a former county town with an imposing town hall, museum and castle with a variety of restaurants/pubs (3 miles).

The nearby market town of Welshpool boasts the impressive Powys Castle and gardens along with a steam railway, canal, leisure centre,museum and golf course.

There is a good variety of eating establishments close by.
Chirbury(2 miles) has a well stocked village shop.

The nearest rail link is Welshpool (5 miles).
