We provide 5 spacious camping pitches, perfect for families or couples, with a maximum of 2 adults per pitch. Our site accommodates tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans (larger vehicles are limited to the valley area). Unlike traditional campsites, we offer a unique experience with a vast, open space and just a few pitches. This creates the feeling of wild camping, complemented by the convenience of standpipes, composting toilets and high-quality showers.
Our campsite is completely off-grid, set away from buildings and roads. There are no electric hook-ups or chemical waste disposal facilities. However, a short 10-minute walk to the nearby farm provides access to a freezer for recharging ice packs. If you need to charge devices, you’re welcome to do so at the farm, just ask.
We have 2 composting toilets and 2 hot gas showers housed in a beautifully converted horse trailer. For larger groups wishing to camp together in the woodland, you’ll also need to hire the Woodland Hut.
Each pitch offers its own private space: 2 are tucked within our 10-acre woodland and 3 are spread across our 23-acre wild valley. Campfires in fire pits are allowed, but during very dry conditions, we may restrict fires to designated areas.
Parking is available next to your tent in the woodland and in designated spaces within the valley. Valley parking is just a 30-second walk from your pitch and we provide large wheelbarrows for easy transport. Campervans have a dedicated pitch situated in a dip of the valley. In the event of excessively wet conditions, we may ask you to drop off your gear and park just outside the woodland area, still very close and visible from the pitches.
The whole family can enjoy a memorable goat walk experience whilst staying with us. Explore the farm with Mustard and Custard, our resident goats. You can walk through our wild valley whilst getting to know our super friendly goats who love cuddles and strokes. When we return to the field you can also feed them a range of nibbles.
A number of memorable days out are nearby, including:
Elham Valley Railway Museum.
Bursted Manor.
Lower Leas Coastal Park.
Aspinal Zoos in Port Lympne and Howletts.
Canterbury Cathedral.
Dover Castle
