Description

Hideaway Huts offers fabulous glamping accommodation in one of two delightful shepherd's huts, half a mile apart on our Cornish farm at Duloe, near Liskeard in Cornwall.

The Shepherd's Hut: - Tucked away in a secluded spot on the eastern side of Treworgey farm, the traditional Shepherd's Hut has a full-size real double bed with crisp cotton linen and a pocket-sprung mattress, a twin gas-ring cooker, table and chairs, pretty squishy cushions and a log burner to keep you toasty. Arguably the best thing about it though is the magnificent view of the Looe River valley folded into the rolling Cornish hills. Fresh drinking water is available just outside the door and solar-powered lights are fitted so you can stay up playing games, reading your book or just chattering away into the night.

The Lambing Hut: - Tucked away in a secluded spot on the western side of Treworgey farm, the Lambing Hut is another traditional shepherd's hut which has a full-size real double bed with crisp cotton linen and a pocket-sprung mattress, a twin gas-ring cooker, table and chairs, pretty squishy cushions and a log burner to keep you toasty. Arguably the best thing about it though is the magnificent views over the rolling Cornish hills. Fresh drinking water is available just outside the door and solar-powered lights are fitted so you can stay up playing games, reading your book or just chattering away into the night.

Each hut has its own private bathroom hut. There is a separate shower room and loo, and outside there is a sink with hot and cold running water, ideal for washing up. The Bathroom Hut also has a fridge neatly fitted into it to keep your food fresh.

Have supper or high tea by the fire in your Shepherd's Hut, freshly prepared here. Have a barbeque or open fire in your fire pit, right outside your hut and admire the view. Explore our 150 acres of patchwork fields down to the river in the valley below. Try your hand (or your seat!) at horse riding, right here at our licenced riding school on the farm. We cater for the novice and the more experienced rider and have a small breeding and competition yard here too.

Fly a kite or play a ball game in our fields, or tennis on the court. Head into the indoor beach for a game of badminton or wet weather sandcastle building. Make friends with our friendly animals, from ponies, horses, goats, sheep, rabbits, pig to guinea pigs. Laze with a book against the cushions on your super comfy bed in your shepherd's hut, or simply gaze through the window at that view.

We are in the perfect position for visiting a range of attractions in the area:

The Eden Project.
Cotehele House.
Minack Theatre.
Adrenalin Quarry.
Porfell Wildlife Park and Sanctuary.
