Kitsham Farm Camping is a quiet, pop-up campsite set on a working farm in Cornwall, just 15 minutes’ drive from Bude and 10 minutes from Widemouth Bay. It’s an ideal base for beach lovers, with consistent waves for surfers and dog-friendly sands at nearby Black Rock Beach. Those keen on long-distance walking can easily access the South West Coast Path from either beach, making it a great spot for exploring the scenic Cornish coastline.
The location also puts you within easy reach of a variety of family-friendly attractions, from adventure parks and petting farms to bowling alleys, so there’s no shortage of activities to keep the kids entertained. Despite being close to popular destinations, the site maintains a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for those looking to unwind.
Pitches are spread across three acres of gently sloping grassland, offering far-reaching valley views and plenty of space to relax. Facilities are simple but practical, including a brick-built unisex shower block with plenty of hot water and a separate washing-up area. For added convenience, there’s also a washing machine and dryer available on request, ideal if you get caught in a typical Cornish downpour.
Local produce can be picked up from the community-run shop in Marhamchurch, just 10 minutes away, where you’ll also find a welcoming pub. For a broader selection of supplies, Bude’s supermarkets are just a short drive and offer everything you might need during your stay.
